CINNAMON DOUGHNUTS

CINNAMON DOUGHNUTS 
ORIGIN: ZACATECAS, MEXICO 
   
                                                   

INGREDIENTS:...
8 egg yolks
200 g butter .
1 teaspoon tequesquite
orange juice
1 teaspoon orange blossom water
3 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 pinch of salt
Cinnamon powder


PROCEDURE:.......
1. Dissolves tequesquite in orange juice and let it settle.
2. Melt the butter and let cool.
3. Sift a cup of flour. Make a bowl  with the flour and stir well. Gradually add more
sifted flour and juice with tequesquite.
4. Add salt and a tablespoon of orange flower water. Keep adding flour until a
soft, pliable dough.
5. Form a ball and put it to rest in a warm place for an hour.
6. Spread with a roller until 1 cm thick.
7. Rosquitas shape with a cutter and fry in butter (oil)
8. Make a syrup with sugar and a cup of water and boil. When it has cooled
bathes him the donuts and then with cinnamon
