PROJECT: I KNOW AND ACCEPT MYSELF

THEME:     Prehispanic Cultures, what do I do for MY MEXICO (my school)

GROUP: 2nd grade

DATE:  December 18th to 19th, 2017

Session: 1 (Monday )  

THEME: New vocabulary  words.

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym (el energetizador  ), Spell three words, Copy Homework.

 CURRICULAR AREAS:
Language Arts
KiVa lesson 2 Emotions

 SUBAREA
Writing and representing
Numbers
Goals and decisions.

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
 Uses recognizable letters when writing familiar words.
 Describes the process of identify emotions.
Uses a goal-setting process.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Answers on their notebook and illustration of their emotions.
ACTIVITIES: 1.In pairs talk about how to regulate your emotions. (15min.)
2. Write down whether you have noticed these differences in the way people behave. (10min.)
3. Write what you feel about this situation. (10min)
4. Post in Facebook your work. (10min.)
5. Rehearse Christmas plays. (30 min.)

6. Copy on your vocabulary notebook, vocabulary words 1 to 5 week 18 one time. ( clean, dirty, happy, long, new, old, sad, short ) (10min.) 
7. Illustrate each one with a small drawing. (10 min.)
 
8. Write the homework on homework section. (10 min

THEME: Reading Comprehension, new vocabulary words

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym (el energetizador ), Mental Math, Copy Homework.

 
CURRICULAR AREAS:
Language Arts

 SUBAREA
Reading Comprehension
Writing and representing

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
 Interacts with others for the purposes of compare the story with a movie, TV program or another book.  
Uses recognizable letters when writing familiar words. 

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Reading comprehension work published in Facebook and Twitter. Students new vocabulary words written on the notebook.

ACTIVITIES: 1.  Daily routine. Date, We learn…, Brain Gym (el energetizador ), Spell 3 words, Copy Homework. (30min.)
2. Kids listen to the story. “ The Train Set “ by Pat itchin ( 2 min. )
3. Compare it with another story, TV program  or movie and illustrate it using the iPad . ( 20 min. ) 
4. Share your work in Facebook and Twitter. ( 20 min. )
5. Rehearse Christmas plays. (15min.)
6. Copy on your vocabulary notebook, vocabulary words 6 to 10 week 17 one time.( young, smile, chicken, cow, hippo, tiger, walk  ) ( 10 min. )
7. Illustrate each one with a small drawing. ( 10 min. )
8. Write the homework in homework section. ( 10 min)
