Session: 1 (Monday )  

THEME: New vocabulary  words.

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym (el bostezo), Spell three words, Copy Homework.

KiVa lesson 3 Our Class – Everyone is included!
Physical Education Class ( 9:05 – 10:00)
Corporal Expression (10:00 – 10:45)

 SUBAREA
Writing and representing
Goals and decisions.

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
 Uses recognizable letters when writing familiar words.
 Describes our class.
Uses a goal-setting process.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Answers on their notebook and illustration.
ACTIVITIES: 1. In pairs think about what your class is like as a group and what you are like its member. (15min.)
2. Answer these questions: How do you see each other? What do you expect of each other?   (10 min)
3. Write down your observations. (10min)
4. Post in Facebook your work. (10min.)
5.  Copy on your vocabulary notebook, vocabulary words 1 to 5 week 37 one time. ( chips=fries, colour=color, favourite=favorite, flat=apartment, football=soccer) (10min.) 
 6. Write the homework on homework section. (10 min)

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym (el bostezo), Mental Math, Copy Homework.

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
 Interacts with others for the purposes of compare the story with a movie, TV program or another book.  
Uses recognizable letters when writing familiar words. 

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Reading comprehension work published in Facebook and Twitter. Students new vocabulary words written on the notebook.

ACTIVITIES: 1.  Daily routine. Date, We learn…, Brain Gym (el bostezo), Spell 3 words, Copy Homework. (30min.)
2. Kids enter scholasticlearningzone.com to read the story. “ Icky Bug Colors “ by Jerry Pallotta (10 min. )
3. Compare it with another story, TV program or movie and illustrate it using the iPad . ( 20 min. )
4. Share your work in Facebook and Twitter. ( 20 min. )
5. Copy on your vocabulary notebook, vocabulary words 6 to 10 week 37 one time. ( grey=gray, lorry=truck, shop=store, sweet=candy, alien ) ( 10 min. )
6. Write the homework in homework section. ( 10 min)
