PROJECT: I KNOW AND ACCEPT MYSELF
THEME:     Prehispanic Cultures, what do I do for MY MEXICO (my school)

GROUP: 2nd grade

DATE: October 30th   to November 3rd, 2017 

Session: 1 (Monday )  

GROUP GOALS: KiVa Visualisation Exercise

 CURRICULAR AREA:
Language arts 
Personal Planning
KiVa lesson 1 Let’s get to know each other!

 SUBAREA
Writing and representing
Goals and decisions.

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
 Think about the emotions.
Creates informational writing using some content-specific vocabulary and details.
 Identifies the steps needed to achieve a goal.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Represent their emotions in a drawing.

RESOURCES: colors, white sheet of paper, voc. words

ACTIVITIES: 1. Daily routine. ( 10 min. ) 
2. Listen to KiVa story and think back to the things that have been covered as well as the emotions that have surfaced during the lesson. (5min)
3. Concentrate on the story. (5min.)
4. Make questions evoked by the story. (5min.)
5. Make a drawing of that you imagined. (10min.)
6. Copy on your vocabulary notebook vocabulary words 1 to 5 week 11 one time. ( chair, cupboard,lamp, sofa, wear ) (10min.) 
7. Illustrate each one with a small drawing. (10 min.)
8. Write the homework in homework section. (10 min. )

PROJECT: I KNOW AND ACCEPT MYSELF
THEME:     Prehispanic Cultures, what do I do for MY MEXICO (my school)

GROUP: 2nd grade

DATE: October 30th   to November 3rd, 2017

Session: 2 (Tuesday )

 GROUP GOAL: Kids participate in Halloween Party
 
CURRICULAR AREAS:
Language Arts

 SUBAREA
Reading Comprehension
Writing and representing

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
 Interacts with others for the purposes of compare the story with a movie, TV program or another book.  
Uses recognizable letters when writing familiar words. 

GROUP GOAL: Connect with the story.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Reading comprehension work published in Facebook and Twitter. Students new vocabulary words written on the notebook. Students will visit the scared house.

ACTIVITIES: 1. Daily routine. Date, We learn…, Brain Gym ( ocho perezoso ), Spell 3 words, Copy Homework. (30min.)
2. Kids will listen to the story. “ Howdy” by La Vada Weir( 2 min. )
3. They will compare it with another story, TV program or movie and illustrate it using the iPad .      ( 20 min. )
4. They will share their work in Facebook and Twitter. ( 20 min. )
5. Kids will copy on their vocabulary notebook vocabulary words 6 to 10 week 11 one time.(beautiful, clean, new, with, No!  ) ( 10 min. )
6. Kids will illustrate each one with a small drawing. ( 10 min. )
7. They will write the homework in homework section. ( 10 min)
8. Kids will dress their Halloween costumes and show them to their school mates. (20min.)
9. They will participate in the Halloween Party telling their guessings.(90 min.) 
10. They will visit the scared house. (10min.)
