PROJECT: I KNOW MY WORLD AND LET OTHERS KNOW ME.

THEME: I AM ABLE TO GENERATE PEACE

GROUP: 2nd Grade

DATE: May 1st to 5th,  2017

Session: 1 ( Tuesday )

GROUP GOALS: Interacts with others for the purposes of visualize and compare the story with a movie, TV program or another book.  

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym (el bostezo),Spell 5 words, Copy Homework.

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLO’S)

Interacts with others for the purposes of making questions and visualize pictures.

Infers the problable outcome of an event or behaviour based on observations.

Uses of vocabulary words .

Uses singing skills to reproduce melodies.

GROUP GOAL: They will publish in Facebook and Twitter their reading comprehension work. Students will write and illustrate new vocabulary words on the notebook.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products):  Reading comprehension work published in Facebook and Twitter. Students new vocabulary words written on the notebook.

ACTIVITIES: 1. Daily routine. ( 10 min. )  

Kids listen to the story “Mouse Deer and the Crocodile” a Malaysian folk tale. (10min.)     

They  visualize the pictures about the story as they listen to it.   ( 10 min. )

They draw  on a sheet of paper what they visualized. (15min.)

 In pairs they share their work in Facebook.(10min.)

        6.     Kids copy on their vocabulary notebook vocabulary words 1 to 5 week 32 one time. ( 10 min. )

        7.      Kids illustrate each one with a small drawing. ( 10 min. )

        8.     They write the homework in homework section. ( 10 min.)

        9.      Kids sing “Fly me to the moon” and “You’ll be in my heart” (10min.)

RESOURCES: Reading book, 8 iPads, vocabulary notebook.

PLACE: classroom

CLASS ORGANIZATION: pairs, individual

HOMEWORK: Write  3 times voc. words 1 to 5 week 32. Write te name of each worker under each box on S1book page 158.  Read 10 min.

      3. Kids  illustrate each one with a small drawing. ( 10 min. )

     5. Kids use vocabulary words and verbs in past tense to write sentences (key, kid, kite, kitten, koala, pail, pan, paper, pencil, asked, built, had, looked, made, played, rode, said, turned) (15min.)

     6.  Kids sing “Fly me to the moon” and “You’ll be in my heart” (10min.)

      5. Kids use vocabulary words to write 2 statements, 2 questions, and 2 exclamatory sentences. (20min.)
