PROJECT: I KNOW MY WORLD AND LET OTHERS KNOW ME.
 
THEME: I AM ABLE TO GENERATE PEACE

GROUP: 2nd Grade

DATE: February  27th to March 3rd,  2017

Session: 1 (Monday )

GROUP GOALS: Kids work with emotions

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, We learn…, Brain Gym ( activación del brazo ), Mental Math, Copy Homework.
MANTRA: I love everything I do.

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
 Uses complete simple sentences and compound sentences.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Emotion cards pictures

ACTIVITIES: 1. Daily routine. ( 10 min. ) 
2. Kids copy on their vocabulary notebook vocabulary words 1 to 5 week 25 one time (10min.) 
3. Kids illustrate each one with a small drawing. (10 min.) 
4. In pairs Kids talk about KiVa lesson 2 questions: Where do emotions come from? How do you know how someone is feeling?(10 min)
5. Kids draw emotion cards.( 15 min.)
6. Kids show their emotion depicted in the picture with facial expressions, gestures, and movements.(10 min.)
7. Kids hear an emotion by reciting “Humpty  Dumpty “ in different emotions.(5 min.)
8. Kids practice on Sistema UNO book  pages 126 and 127 (10min.)
7. They  write the homework on homework section. (10 min.)

GROUP GOALS: Interacts with others for the purposes of visualize and compare the story with a movie, TV program or another book.  

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym (activación del brazo),Spell 5 words, Copy Homework.
MANTRA : I am here for myself and myself only

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
Interacts with others for the purposes of making questions and visualize pictures.
Infers the problable outcome of an event or behaviour based on observations.

GROUP GOAL: They will publish in Facebook and Twitter their reading comprehension work. Students will write and illustrate new vocabulary words on the notebook.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products):  Reading comprehension work published in Facebook and Twitter. Students new vocabulary words written on the notebook.

ACTIVITIES: 1. Daily routine. ( 10 min. )  
Kids listen to the story  “ Small Spot” (5min.)
They  visualize the pictures about the story as they listen to it.   ( 20 min. )
They draw  in a sheet of paper what they visualized. (15min.)
 In pairs they share their work in Facebook.(10min.)
        6.     Kids copy on their vocabulary notebook vocabulary words 6 to 10 week 25 one time. ( 10 min. )
        7.      Kids illustrate each one with a small drawing. ( 10 min. )
        8.      Theyl write the homework in homework section. ( 10 min. )

GROUP GOALS: Kids identify length, mas sor volumes to compare objects 

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym ( activación del brazo   ), Mental Math, Copy Homework.
MANTRA: There are no Right or Wrong ideas

CURRICULAR AREA:
Language arts
 Mathematical thinking.
Physical Education (11:20 – 12:10)

SUBAREA
Writing and representing
 Shape and space.
Movement

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS):
 Uses their senses for drawing conclusions.
 Identifies length, mass, volumes or / and area as attributes that can be used to compare objects.
Uses movement concepts and skills to participate in activities.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Comparative sentences.

ACTIVITIES: 1. Daily routine. ( 10 min. )
        2.       Kids  copy on their vocabulary notebook vocabulary words 11 to 15 week 25 one time. ( 10 min.)
        3.Kids illustrate each one with a small drawing. ( 10 min. )
They  write the homework in homework section. ( 10 min. )
Kids measure different lines using inches, then compare the lines and some pieces of yarn. 
Use animal illustrations analyze what animal is longer or shorter.
They work S1book page 141. (10min.)
They share their work in Facebook (10min.)

       2. Kids create a booklet about what animals need to survive. (20min.)

       5. They share their work in Facebook. (15min.)
