GROUP GOALS: Understand emotions

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, We learn…, Brain Gym ( flexión del pie ), Mental Math, Copy Homework.

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
 Uses complete simple sentences and compound sentences.
 Recognizes when a problema exists
 
DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Understand what someone may feel like.

ACTIVITIES: 1. Daily routine. ( 10 min. ) 
2. Kids copy on their vocabulary notebook vocabulary words 1 to 5 week 26 one time (10min.) 
3. Kids illustrate each one with a small drawing. (10 min.) 
4. Kids are in pairs handing en emotion card. (1min.) KiVa lesson 2 Put yourself in someone else’s shoes!
5. As they listen to the short stories, they think if their card could be linked to the situation and lift it up. (10 min.)
6. Kids answer this question on their Kiva notebook: What did you learn from this exercise?(5min.)
7. They share their answers in Facebook and Twitter (10min.)
8. They write the homework on homework section. (10 min

GROUP GOALS: Interacts with others for the purposes of visualize and compare the story with a movie, TV program or another book.  

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym (flexión del pie),Spell 5 words, Copy Homework.

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
Interacts with others for the purposes of making questions and visualize pictures.
Infers the problable outcome of an event or behaviour based on observations.
Uses of vocabulary words .

GROUP GOAL: They will publish in Facebook and Twitter their reading comprehension work. Students will write and illustrate new vocabulary words on the notebook.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products):  Reading comprehension work published in Facebook and Twitter. Students new vocabulary words written on the notebook.

ACTIVITIES: 1. Daily routine. ( 10 min. )  
Kids listen to the story “Little Cloud” by Eric Carle (10min.)     
They  visualize the pictures about the story as they listen to it.   ( 10 min. )
Theyl draw  in a sheet of paper what they visualized. (15min.)
 In pairs they share their work in Facebook.(10min.)
        6.     Kids copy on their vocabulary notebook vocabulary words 6 to 10 week 26 one time. ( 10 min. )
        7.      Kids illustrate each one with a small drawing. ( 10 min. )

      3. Kids  illustrate each one with a small drawing. ( 10 min. )
      4. They write the homework in homework section. ( 10 min. )
     5. Kids draw their favorite food on a sheet of paper.(10min.)
     6. They identify if it is healthy food. (5min.)
      7.  They separate healthy and unhealthy food drawings. (5min.)
      8.  They share their information in Facebook. (10min.)

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym (flexión del pie   ), Spell 3 words, Copy Homework.

SUBAREA
 Career development
Writing and representing. 

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
        1. Describes the attributes of people they admire.
        2. Uses prior vocabulary when interacting with others.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Description of meals they like or don’t like.

ACTIVITIES: 1.  Daily routine. ( 10 min. )
2.Kids create sentences to describe meals. (15min.)
 kids must include as many vocabulary words as they can and use “like” and “don`t like”.(15min.)
They write the homework in homework section. ( 10 min. )

 SUBAREA
 Reading and viewing.
Visual Arts

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
 Precits and makes connections during reading to construct, monitor and confirm meaning.
 Demonstrates an awareness that there are reasons for preferences in artwork.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Paint an Alebrije

ACTIVITIES: 1. Daily routine. ( 10 min. )  
                       2. Kids choose zapoteca symbols to decorate their alebrije.(5min.)
                       3.Kids use paint and brushes to paint their alebrije. (20min.)
  4.Children write homework in homework notebook. ( 10 min. )

RESOURCES: alebrijes, homework notebook
