PROJECT: I KNOW MY WORLD AND LET OTHERS KNOW ME.
THEME: Prehispanic Cultures, what do I do for MY MEXICO (my school)
GROUP: 2nd Grade
DATE: February 6th to 10th, 2017
Session: 4 ( Thursday )
GROUP GOALS: Kids make a list of things they make for Valentine’s Day, using complete simple sentences.
DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym (activación del brazo ), Spell 3 words, Copy Homework.
CURRICULAR AREA:
Music Class
Language arts
Social studies.
SUBAREA
Writing and representing
Identity, society and culture.
DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
Kids use complete simple sentences.
Kids interact with others for the purposes of making connections.
Kids identify factors that influence who they are.
DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Sentnces and work Facebook.
ACTIVITIES: 1. Daily routine. ( 10 min. )
2. Write the words on the board and let kids use them as guide to unscramble the words on the printable activity.(10min.)
3. Kids should create simple sentences using the words they have.(10min.)
4. Kids will take a picture of their sheet of paper, and make a video saying the sentences they created.(10min.)
5. A classmate will hold the camera and then switch turns.(10min.)
6. Comment with a classmate if their families celebrate Valentine’s Day.(10min)
7. They will write the homework in homework section. ( 10 min. )
RESOURCES: notebook, 8 iPads
PLACE: classroom
CLASS ORGANIZATION: individual, pairs
HOMEWORK: Write 3 times voc.words 11 to 15 week 22. Grade my pronunciation on S1book page 43. Read 10 minutes.

THEME: Prehispanic Cultures, what do I do for MY MEXICO (my school)
GROUP: 2nd Grade
DATE: February 6th to 10th, 2017
Session: 5 ( Friday )
GROUP GOALS: Kids will read with fluency and showing comprehension of texts as they visualize what they read.
DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym ( activación del brazo ), Mental Math, Copy Homework.
CURRICULAR AREA:
Language arts.
Fine arts
SUBAREA
Reading and viewing.
Visual arts, materials, technologies and processes.
DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
Reads fluently and demonstrates comprehension of grade appropriate information texts.
Makes images using a variety of materials, tools, equipment, and processes can be used to create particular effects.
DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Kids paintings.
ACTIVITIES: 1. Daily routine. ( 10 min. )
2.Kids will read text in S1, pages 16-25 then, they shoul find the main idea and some details (page 26). (10min.)
Kids ask and answer orally questions on page 27 to show comprehension of text and share ideas and opinions.(10min.)
Kids get material to illustrate what they imagined during reading.(10min.)
5. Kids will share their conclusions in small groups.(10min.)
Children will write homework in homework notebook. ( 10 min. ).
